Usage Tracking and
Statistics FAQ
|
Q: Can I Track Screen Access?
A: Yes! The best and most simple usage tracking is the "screen counts only" option that records all screens accessed, the number of times displayed, and the total time displayed. The format is "screenName, visitCount,hh:mm:ss". The information is stored in a text file in the "\stats" folder in a format of "mmddyy.sts" (mmddyy = month / day / year).
Q: Can I Track Individual Object Touches?
A: Yes. You may opt to create more detailed statistics by recording everything that is touched. This gets pretty "busy" really quick, tho.
Q: Can I Track an Individual User?
A: Yes. If you are in "pay-per-view" surfing mode, you can track what a user does from start-to-finish.
Q: Can I Track Purchases and Orders?
A: Yes. Every time you sell something on the kiosk, both the shopper and the purchase items are recorded in the shopping database. If you optionally collected "bill to" and "ship to" information, this data is also included in the database.
Q: Can I Track Money Collected?
A: If in "Pay-Per-View" mode. Every time a payment is received via a "pay-per-view" situation, the customer information and money collected is stored in the webmoney database.
Q: Can I Receive All Of This Information Automatically?
A: Yes. Check out the Automatic E-Mail / FTP Reporting FAQ.
