Kiosk FAQ
|
Q: What Types of Images Can I Capture?
A: Lots! You can capture images (single frame), voice, and/or video.
Q: Can I Modify the Interface?
A: Yes. All graphics and objects may be located anywhere you like, and they may be completely customizable by you.
Q: Can I Restrict the Capture Time?
A: Yes. You can set your "get ready" time, your "capture time", the number of takes, and more.
Q: Is There Any "Post Processing" I Can Do?
A: You bet! You can merge your captured image with other images to create cool effects, such as "framing" the image within a border or create a slick "postcard" that's ready for printout. You can also create HTML pages dynamically, allowing you to create 'Net-ready web pages, "photosticker" printouts - you name it!
Q: Can I Capture Voice?
A: Yes. You can optionally capture voice in WAV format, and then do what you like with the file, from "re-playing" it on the kiosk to sending it via E-Mail to a server, to including it in a web page.
Q: Can I Create Web Pages With the Captured Data?
A: Yes. You can collect information from the user (like "web page title" and "web page message") and then have Kiosk-in-a-Box create the web page dynamically from a template you create. Kiosk-in-a-Box substitutes the message, image, and/or title automatically. You can display it "live" just after creation on the kiosk and/or send it via E-Mail or FTP to anywhere in the world.
Q: Can I Create "Photo Stickers"?
A: Yes. You can create your HTML template such that you can have 1 or 100 images on one "page", and then display this HTML page along with a "print" object.
Q: Is There a Demo Showing Me How to Do It?
A: Yes. Download Kiosk-in-a-Box and Internet V.I.P comes included with the program. Click or touch the "Image Kiosks" demo and then experience a "postcard" creation, and E-Mail / Photo experience, a "photosticker" experience, and the creation of a dynamic web page.
Q: What Hardware Do I Need?
A: Some. You need a video camera and a capture card.
