Q: Can I Dial Locations for Users?
A: Yes! You can optionally include a telephone handset and allow users to call establishments, advertisers, you - or anybody.
Q: Can I Restrict the Hour of Dialing?
A: Yes. You can set up a start time and a stop time when the telephone will be available for each number you dial via the kiosk. This will allow you to avoid calls at 3 a.m, for example, if that's what you want.
Q: What if All My Phone Numbers are in a Database?
A: No problem! You can display your phone numbers via Database Aware Objects and have these objects dial the telephone based upon their caption.
Q: Is there Long Distance Management?
A: Yes. You can define up to 5 different locations (cities, towns, etc.) and then specify which area{s} the call is local, and which area{s} it is not. Kiosk-in-a-Box does the rest.
Q: Can it "Dial 9" to Get a Dial Tone?
A: Yes. For each kiosk, may define a pre-dial sequence. This sequence will be appended to the front of all numbers dialed. It can even be your long distance access sequence.
Q: Do I Need a Separate Modem for Dialing?
A: That depends. If you have an Internet kiosk that uses Dial-up Networking, then yes. If your kiosk is not online during touch-to-dial actions, then no. If you do need an extra modem, it can be a "bottom of the line" modem since all it's doing is generating dialing tones.
Q: Can it Perform Pulse Dialing?
A: Yes. You have the option to perform pulse or tone dialing.
