Q: What is the Attraction Sequence?
A: A series of screens. These screens are created by you, and are usually geared towards attracting users to your kiosk application.
Q: Can I Display URLs in the Attraction Sequence?
A: Yes. You can use URLs and/or screens - your choice.
Q: When does the Attraction Sequence begin?
A: You define when. Simply set the "In-Use" timeout to a specified number of seconds (for example, 120 seconds). When no one has touched your kiosk application for the "In-Use" timeout, your attraction screen will being.
Q: Does it just start, or are users warned?
A: Warned. Before your application transitions to the attraction sequence, you are allowed to display a graphic - the "More Time" graphic - anywhere you like on your screen. This graphic appears for a duration you set (for example, 6 seconds) and asks users to touch the graphic if they are still experiencing the current screen. If no touch is received on the "More Time" graphic, your attraction sequence will then begin. If touched, the "In-Use" timer is reset.
Q: How many screens can I include in the attraction sequence?
A: Unlimited. You can have one screen or 100.
Q: Can I use a screen both in the attraction sequence and during In-Use mode?
A: Yes. Each object on the screen can be set to either show up (display) in In-Use mode, Attract Mode or both!
Q: Can my kiosk to "wake up" on the current attraction screen if it receives a touch on an object contained within that screen?
A: Yes. You can set your kiosk application to either "wake up" on the current screen OR go to a pre-defined "start-up" screen. Your choice.
Q: Must I Have An Attract Sequence?
A: No. You can set up the software to never time out from the "In-Use" mode and never gain access to an attraction sequence.
